Battery for GPS Tracking Devices

BATTERY PACKS FOR TRAXLOGIX GPS TRACKING BASE UNITS

Our extensive range of battery packs will provide a long-lasting source of energy for all of Traxlogix’s tracking base units. For nonrechargeable solutions, the BP-165, with a nominal capacity of 6,500 mA, can supply a tracking base unit for up to four years. For rechargeable solutions, both prismatic and cylindrical battery packs are available, with nominal capacities ranging from 1,500 to 3,600 mA. Secondary battery packs can be recharged either from a wall outlet or through the USB port of a computer. If external power is available for the tracking base unit, the PSC-800 converter, with a DC input ranging from 10 to 30 volts, can be plugged in to the product. If a backup battery is still required, the PSC-900 includes an Li-Ion cell of 1,800 mA. If power fails, the tracking base unit will continue to be supplied from the backup battery. All battery packs include an eeprom memory for data storage.

Container GPS tracking system and device by Innovative Technologies Traxlogix. is a leader of GPS tracking system technologies using GSM & GPRS networks. We design and manufacture container tracking equipment, container GPS tracking devices, Dog GPS tracking systems. The GPS tracking capabilities of Innovative Technologies are equipped to determine the location of the GPS tracking device within 3 meters. Our GPS tracking devices integrates Ublox Assisted GPS high technology receivers and Sagem GSM-GPRS modems, A GPS tracking unit is a device that uses the Global Positioning System to determine the precise location of a vehicle, person, or other asset to which it is attached and to record the position of the asset at regular intervals. The recorded location data can be stored within the tracking unit, or it may be transmitted to a central location data base, or internet-connected computer, using a cellular (GPRS), radio, or satellite modem embedded in the unit. This allows the asset's location to be displayed against a map backdrop either in real-time or when analysing the track later, using customized software. Such systems are not new; amateur radio operators hav been operating their free GPS-based nationwide realtime Automatic Packet Reporting System (APRS) since 1982. href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GPS_tracking" href="http://www.innotechnologies.com/" href="http://www.u-blox.com/" href="http://www.sagem.com/" href="http://www.microchip.com/"
href="http://www.gps-practice-and-fun.com/index.html" Basically two types of tracking systems exist today passive and real time, which is also known as active. A passive unit maintains a record of every location it has traveled to in a particular vehicle. This information can then be downloaded onto your computer and viewed using the manufacturer’s software that is included with your tracking unit.Real time, or active systems allow you to view the vehicle’s location whenever you desire. They collect the same information, but usually transmit the data in “real-time” via cellular or satellite networks to a computer.
GPS tracking uses a system of satellites orbiting the earth to find an approximate placement of the receiver within a few meters of its actual location. These systems are known for their accuracy and reliabilit and can generally give you a precise reading within a few feet of your position.

The new TRX-900 is specially designed for real time GPS tracking and monitoring of trucks, trailers, parcels and containers. Transit trucks, railcars and containers tracking for customs administration, logistic networks, railway companies. The TRX-900 is also suitable for fleet monitoring, industrial vehicles tracking and much more. High level of integration makes the Traxlogix TRX-900 device a completely stand-alone GPS tracking device. The product can be programmed to record the entire itinerary of the container or send data at regular intervals and automatically upload its memory content to the communication server. The system monitor continuously if the customs seals have been tampered. Device installation is reduced to nothing and do not requires any tools, three powerful magnets provides a reliable fastening method between the container or metal sheet and the device. The enclosure of the TRX-900 contain high-reliability Li-Ion batteries with a nominal capacity ranging from 2150 up to 6450mA. GPS performance is greatly enhanced by the uses of an high gain ceramic patch antenna, allowing the receiver to quickly find a first fix position. Optional passive RFID tag available on request.
